Dress Watch Meets Diver
Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Omega combines the elegance of a dress watch with the functionality and robustness of a diving watch in the Seamaster Aqua Terra collection: A screw-down crown and case back make the timepieces water-resistant up to 150 meters (15 bar, 492 feet). Thanks to the luminous material on the hands and indices, the watches are also easy to read in poor lighting conditions. The relationship to the other models in the Seamaster collection can also be seen here, as the triangular hour markers and the minute hand with an arrowhead are strongly reminiscent of the classic model in the series, the Seamaster 300.
However, unlike its legendary sibling model, the Aqua Terra lacks a diving bezel. Instead, a narrow and – in most instances – polished bezel runs around the dial's edge. Its finely structured dial, reminiscent of the planks of a yacht, further reinforces this impression. The final result is simple, sporty, and elegant. It pairs as well with a suit as it does with a polo shirt. Different case diameters of 28 mm, 34 mm, and 43 mm offer the right size for almost every wrist. Omega also offers the 49.2-mm Aqua Terra XXL Small Seconds for those looking for something particularly hefty.
The Omega Aqua Terra line is incredibly diverse. For example, there are models with cases and bracelets made of stainless steel or yellow or rose gold, as well as two-tone editions that combine 18-karat gold and stainless steel. The Ultralight models on the other hand are made almost entirely of titanium - including the case, dial, and components of the movement.
This variety of options is also seen with this model series’ complications. You can choose from simple three-hand watches, watches with a second time zone or small seconds, as well as timepieces with a world time display, which allow you to keep an eye on 24 time zones simultaneously. Omega uses automatic calibers with the in-house Co-Axial escapement in the series, which makes the watches particularly low-maintenance and resistant to magnetic fields. In ladies' models with a particularly small diameter, the watchmaker also uses quartz movements from the Swiss manufacturer ETA.

Aqua Terra Chronograph
The 43-mm Aqua Terra GMT Chronograph (ref. 231.10.43.52.06.001) is part of the former Aqua Terra collection and is particularly well-equipped.
