The Rolex GMT-Master II 16710T was produced from the late 1980s to the mid-2000s. The specific production years can vary, and it's always a good idea to check the individual watch's serial number to determine its manufacturing date. "16710T" is the reference number for this particular GMT-Master II model. The reference number is an essential identifier for Rolex watches and helps collectors and enthusiasts distinguish between different models. The GMT-Master II 16710T was equipped with the Rolex Caliber 3185, a self-winding mechanical movement. The movement featured a GMT function, allowing the wearer to track two time zones simultaneously. The watch was available with different dial variations, including the iconic black dial with white hour markers and hands. The hour markers and hands were often luminescent for improved visibility in low-light conditions. Rolex watches, including the GMT-Master II 16710T, are known for their water-resistant design. While not a diving watch, it could withstand water exposure to a certain extent. |

After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.

Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?

If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional €199 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
