The Octagon is a seldom seen watch in the Santos line and is one of the affordable distinctive luxury watches. It is beautifully styled and its eight-sided bezel is suggestive of the iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.

Today's offering showcases this original Certified Pre-Owned ladies Octagon with "Godron" bracelet. It features a stainless steel case with 18K bezel, classic white Roman dial with blue steel "epee" hands, sapphire topped crown, and mechanical movement.

Unlike the quartz version of the Santos, this more desirable mechanical example possesses an automatic movement and in a way showcases the timeless art of traditional watch making.

Besides its beautiful condition, what sets this example apart from others is its unique "Godron" bracelet. We have been told that the bracelet was a special edition made only for one year in the '90's.

It is fully Cartier and presents in gorgeous condition - about a 9.7 out of 10. On the wrist, it presents nearly like new.

Its case presents as mint condition with light signs of polishing to the bezel. Unlike many examples, it still perfectly retains its original lightly stamped serial number. Its dial presents as mint. On the wrist, it presents as mint. Its adjustable bracelet presents as mint with only light stretch.

A Master Watchmaker has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $595 value).

It is running strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Cartier in our testing recording position.

The waterproofing gaskets in these are known for making these watches difficult to handwind even after servicing. This one is easier to wind than many. If you would prefer never to handwind it, it's a great candidate to be placed on a watch winder for convenience.

For the finishing touch, it has been meticulously detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
