I bought this watch from Colognewatch on 02.03.2024
The watch comes with a warranty from Colognewatch until 02.03.2025 I have never worn this watch. Scope of delivery: - Glashütte Original watch box in brown leather - Glashütte Original travel case in brown leather - Glashütte Original box with white outer packaging - Glashütte Original stainless steel double folding clasp - Crocodile leather strap in black from a. Lange and Söhne - Glashütte Original service booklet - Invoice from Colognewatch to me, with a guarantee This watch is beautiful, but at 42mm it is unfortunately a little too big on my wrist. I will therefore be selling it in favor of a smaller watch. This watch has a slight positive deviation of very few seconds per day. This is good for the owner of the watch because the watch never loses time. Firstly, the wearer is never too late and secondly, he can simply stop the second hand every few days by pulling the crown briefly and precisely compensate for the seconds that have run ahead. The watch will be shipped insured. As the watch is in a safe deposit box, shipping takes up to one week. Characteristics of the watch: + Polished stainless steel case with fine, brushed edges. + This watch has no actual dial, the 3/4 main plate of the movement serves as the dial, allowing the viewer to enjoy the fine striped/ribbed finish, rubies & polished screw heads that adorn this fine piece of watchmaking. + In addition, the designers have integrated the duplex swan-neck fine adjustment and the mainspring barrel on the front of the movement. + Anthracite-colored plates & bridges. + Sub-dials for time and seconds offset to the left: + Black chapter rings. + Polished steel applied Arabic numerals & index hour markers. + Fine white printed minute track on the large sub-dial. + Fine white printed seconds track on the seconds dial. + Polished white gold hands, hour and minute hands with luminous material. + Power reserve indicator at the 2 o'clock position. + Double swan-neck fine adjustment, mounted on a beautiful, hand-engraved and decorated bridge. + The back of the movement has a striped/ribbed surface. + Glashütte Original caliber 66-05, has an approximate power reserve of 40 hours. + The watch has a second stop and can therefore be easily set to the exact second. |

Do you have any questions?
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of €199. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional €199 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
According to our definition of authenticity, we consider a watch to be authentic if it is either in its original condition (as it was when it left the manufacturer) or contains a maximum of two service parts that do not originate from the manufacturer and do not contain a trademark. Permissible service parts include the crown, bezel, hands, or push-pieces. These will be noted during the certification process and listed under "Notes" on the certificate of authenticity. Customized or modified watches as well as fake or counterfeit watches cannot be certified.
More detailed information can be found in our info sheet: "Chrono24 Definition of Authenticity," which you can find on our Certified website.
If you booked Certified as an add-on, our in-house watchmakers will carry out a thorough check. If they notice the condition of the watch differs from the information in the listing (e.g., additional scratches) or that key replacement parts without a brand name or logo are present (e.g., different bracelet or hands), they will reach out to you.
You typically have three options of how to proceed:
You accept the results of the certification and decide to proceed with buying the watch. In this case, your watch should be ready for dispatch and shipped to you within 1–3 business days.
You decide to withdraw from the purchase due to the discrepancies found. In this case, we'll ship the watch back to the seller and refund you your payment from our escrow account.
At your request, we can contact the seller and suggest adjusting the purchase price. If you agree to a lower price, we'll send you a partial refund from our escrow account after the watch has been delivered.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Regardless of whether you choose a watch that has already been certified or one that can be certified for an extra fee, the process and quality standards of certification remain the same. Our definition of authenticity, our standardized authenticity test, and the verification process for watchmakers ensure that our high quality standards are consistently met. Certified Optional is available as an add-on for selected watches listed with a minimum price of €5 000. For these watches, you can book certification by our in-house watchmakers for an additional charge of €199.
