Description |
We are proud to present this scarcely seen Panerai Luminor 1950 Rattrapante Chronograph for sale in mint condition.
The Panerai Luminor series stands as an iconic testament to the marriage of Italian craftsmanship and naval heritage in the world of luxury watches. Born from a legacy rooted in supplying precision instruments to the Italian Navy and only available to the public from 1993 onward. The hallmark feature of the Luminor, the distinctive crown lock system, not only defines its aesthetic appeal but also symbolizes the watches water-resistant prowess. Whether adorned with a minimalist dial or intricate complications, each Luminor timepiece exudes a distinctive blend of maritime elegance and cutting-edge technology, attracting horology enthusiasts and maritime aficionados alike. This iteration of the Luminor 1950, reference PAM00213 comes set in a 44mm stainless steel cushion case with smooth polished bezel. The black 2 register chronograph dial features printed green luminous hour indexes and matching hands, as well contrasting white accents and a tachymeter scale chapter ring. These details are protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and powered by the automatic Calibre OP XVIII chronograph movement which is visible through the exhibition caseback. Lastly, the 10atm (100m/330ft) water resistance is ensured by the iconic Panerai crown lock system, with the watch completed by a rubberised leather strap with stainless steel deployment buckle. Originally sold in June 2008 and in mint condition, supplied as a full set with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet, additional black rubber strap, strap changing tools, retail barcodes, chronometer certificate and international warranty card. This Luminor is sold with our 12 month warranty from the date of purchase. Please contact us for shipping costs to the E.U. All images are of the actual watch for sale. Do you have any questions?
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of €199. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional €199 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
